Refund & Returns Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the date on which they, or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Ambientech.es of their decision by means of a clear written statement before the withdrawal period expires.
Failure to notify within this period will result in the loss of the statutory right of withdrawal.
2. Conditions of Returns
Returned products must be sent back within 14 calendar days from the date the withdrawal is communicated and must be in their original condition, including all accessories, manuals, components, and protective packaging.
Products must be adequately packaged to prevent damage during transport.
The customer is responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
If a product shows signs of installation, use, damage, missing components, altered packaging, or any reduction in resale condition, Ambientech.es reserves the right to apply a proportionate deduction reflecting the actual loss of value.
Where the returned product is rendered unsellable due to handling by the customer, reimbursement may be reduced accordingly, in accordance with applicable law.
3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases permitted by applicable law, including but not limited to:
- Custom-made or personalized goods
- Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or safety reasons once unsealed
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- Products that have been installed, mixed, chemically altered, or partially used
- Technical or chemical products once opened or activated
These exclusions do not affect the customer’s rights in the event of defective or non-conforming products.
4. Return Shipping Costs and Responsibility
Unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or lack of conformity, the customer shall bear the direct cost of return shipping.
The customer remains responsible for the goods until they are received by Ambientech.es.
Returns should be sent using a traceable and, where appropriate, insured delivery service. Ambientech.es is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
5. Refunds
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 14 calendar days from the date the withdrawal is communicated.
However, Ambientech.es may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received and inspected, or until the customer provides proof of return shipment, whichever occurs first.
The original standard delivery cost will be reimbursed only where required under applicable consumer law. Any additional delivery costs resulting from the customer’s choice of a non-standard delivery method (such as express shipping) will not be refunded.
Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be clearly justified and communicated to the customer.
6. Inspection and Condition Assessment
All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.
Ambientech.es reserves the right to document the condition of returned items, assess their suitability for resale, and apply lawful deductions where diminished value is identified.
Inspection findings shall be considered valid unless proven otherwise.
7. Legal Guarantee – Defective or Non-Conforming Products
All products are covered by the statutory legal guarantee in accordance with applicable Spanish and EU legislation.
Customers are encouraged to notify Ambientech.es of any lack of conformity within two months of becoming aware of it.
Where a product is confirmed to be defective or non-conforming, Ambientech.es will offer repair or replacement as the primary remedy. A refund will be provided only where repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate.
In such cases, return shipping costs will be borne by Ambientech.es.
Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, failure to follow instructions, environmental conditions outside product specifications, or third-party handling does not constitute a product defect.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ambientech.es shall not be liable for damages resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, failure to follow technical instructions, normal wear and tear, or environmental factors outside product specifications.
Ambientech.es shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or business interruption.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes mandatory statutory consumer rights.
9. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, the customer must contact info@ambientech.es with their order number and the reason for the return.
Once the request has been reviewed, the customer will receive return authorisation and instructions. The product must then be securely packaged and shipped using a traceable delivery service.
Following inspection, Ambientech.es will process the refund in accordance with this policy.
Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.
